No excuses, Balotelli
Prima di trattare l'argomento occorre fare una premessa: non sono razzista, mi provoca disgusto ogni tipo di discorso di questo genere e I am convinced that what I say will be accepted and understood without much difficulty.
I just watched the last game of the U21 European Championship in Italy, marked by a defeat at the hands of Germany, which has cost the admission to the final.
I must admit that once again I have seen hysterical scenes and unsportsmanlike actions of so-called "Super Mario", the young Mario Balotelli of Inter affiliated.
Nothing to say about his talent and technical ability (perhaps a bit 'selfish, but is still young), the number 20 is certainly a national phenomenon with the ball. But this is not a mitigating factor. The Inter minieroe
apparently have not yet understood that sport which takes part is the football, not a specialty of strange wrestling. It 'really embarrassing to see one so young and so hopefully kicking an opponent after a foolish foul play or maliciously enter the opponent's legs. And it only happened once.
Where is the difference between the whistles to Materazzi and Balotelli ones?
Both play heavy, sometimes with malice and hurt. But for many commentators it is easier to blame the whistle to the racists, insensitive to people attacking a poor young man of color, but good, who does not want to hurt anybody, almost possessed by an evil spirit and rebellious.
Here the color skin has nothing to do, it is only recognizing the reality and admit that if Balotelli is booed by opposing each curve which is faced, perhaps there is a reason. Perhaps
him, the same Super Mario capable of scoring goals from Play Station, should realize that to really be considered Italian and being loved by even skeptics should stop behaving as an animal and try to be even during games, the young man politely which undoubtedly is outside the field.
